Sharps waste is a form of biomedical waste composed of used sharps, which includes any device or object used to puncture or lacerate the skin. Sharps waste is classified as biohazardous waste and must be carefully handled, and disposed of through the use of sharps containers. Sharps containers are specially made containers used to contain hazardous piercing instruments to reduce the risk of injury and spread of infection.
Premier Bio Waste Solutions will work with you to insure you have the necessary size sharp containers and will monitor levels and adjust your frequency to maximize efficiency for cost savings. Bio-hazardous Waste is any waste contaminated with potentially infectious materials. Disposing of this waste isn’t like throwing garbage away – you have to put the waste in dedicated bio-hazard disposal bags, often called Red Bags, and then the bags are put into bio waste containers for safe collection and transportation.
